International aviation: sustainable aviation fuels
From 20 to 24 November, more than 100 participating states took part in the third ICAO Conference on Alternative Aviation Fuels and agreed that alternative fuels should reduce CO2 emissions from international aviation by 5% by 2030.
AEROSUISSE welcomes this move. For the foreseeable future, sustainable aviation fuels are the most important instrument for making aviation CO2-neutral by 2050.
